Zvenyhorod is a village near Lviv. It is located on the site that used to place one of the first three princely capitals in Ukrainian Prykarpattia region thousand of years ago

The project for arranging the first in Ukraine historical and cultural park on the archeological site.

In 2018, in a village of Zvenyhorod, 25 km southeast from Lviv, a project was launched for the arrangement of the first in Ukraine historical and cultural park on the archeological site. The project was selected in the competition of initiatives for regional development under the Ministry for Regional Development and Construction. The project was allocated ca UAH 12 mln. for implementation under EU funded sectoral budget support program. The project was initiated and commissioned by the Department for Architecture and Urban Development of Lviv Regional State Administration. Official opening of the park is scheduled for 2020. The concept for the park project was developed by an active group of experienced archeologists, architects, and landscape designers.

Project “Ancient Zvenyhorod: Branding and Promotion of the Princely Capital”

In 2019, the project “Ancient Zvenyhorod: Branding and Promotion of the Princely Capital” by “Belzkyi Mur’ PC was selected among the winners in the competition run by the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation “Creating an Innovative Cultural Product.” Due to support from the UCF, and also as co-funded by Pustomyty district council and Lviv RSA, a 3D-reconstruction will be produced for the princely capital of the 11th century to the first half of the 13th century, a brand book, a promotional video for the Park, and several presentations will be held in Ukraine and beyond.
